CellPyr

DESCRIPTION

This module inserts cell-, or elemeunix-based data into the top level of a pyramid. It calculates the data values for each element by taking the average of the data values at the vertices that make up the element. It works for pyramids with one layer (when the elements are lines), two layers (when the elements are polygons) or three layers (when the elements are polyhedra).

The cell-based data in the pyramid which is output from this module can be displayed by, for example, PyrToGeom.

The module LatToPyr produces similar output (a pyramid with data at the top level and at the base lattice), starting from a lattice.
