WritePyr

DESCRIPTION

WritePyr takes as input any pyramid and a file name. It writes the pyramid into the file in a form that can later be read by ReadPyr.

Special codes may be embedded in the filename using the % notation documented in strftime(3). The code %n will be replaced by an incremented integer on each new firing.

Pyramids can be written either in ASCII or binary, depending on the setting of the "Output Mode" widget. Binary is faster and smaller but ASCII is more readable.
