Gradient3D

DESCRIPTION

This module calculates the gradient of a three dimensional uniform scalar field. A centered difference algorithm is used to create the 3 component vector field:
grad(f(i,j,k)) = (
(f(i+1,j  ,k  )-f(i-1,j  ,k  ))/delx,
(f(i  ,j+1,k  )-f(i  ,j-1,k  ))/dely,
(f(i  ,j  ,k+1)-f(i  ,j  ,k-1))/delz)

This module has been replaced by GradientLat, which offers more functionality, but is retained for backwards compatibility. The module may be removed from future releases.
